How do I set my / my company's locations and time zone

Time zones can be set at a company, location or individual level

To give you the greatest flexibility with time zones, we let you set them at every level and change them whenever you need. Follow the steps below:

To change the company default time zone:

  1. Make sure you are logged in
  2. Go to 'Company details'
  3. There is a drop-down for 'Time zone', click this
  4. Select the time zone you want as the default (note that this can be overridden by location and/or individual

To change the location default time zone:

  1. Make sure you are logged in
  2. Go to 'Company details'
  3. Scroll down to 'Locations' and find the location you want to adjust (and/or add new ones)
  4. Beneath the location, there is a drop-down for 'Time zone', click this
  5. Select the time zone you want as the default (this will override company default for anyone in this team and can be overridden by individual preferences)

To change your individual time zone:

  1. Make sure you are logged in
  2. Go to 'Edit your details'
  3. There is a drop-down for 'Time zone', click this
  4. Select the time zone you want (this overrides your location or company defaults

Changing time zones affects:

  • Event times: When you are looking at events, you will see the time in your time zone
  • Time based reminders: When booking into an event, get set a task or a deadline for a 1-to-1 or objective the reminder gets converted into your time zone so that there is no confusion over the deadline
  • Reporting: Reporting is often time-stamped so we've converted this into your time zone, this includes your join date.
